In Koei Tecmo’s Attack on Titan, players will do their best to take down titans. The game offers the opportunity to take advantage of the gear and personnel we’ve seen in the manga and anime, and the two latest trailers show proper Omni-Directional Mobility Gear usage and team building.

The ODM Gear trailer shows how the equipment works in Attack on Titan. Eren is able to traverse large areas quickly and get better access to titans by zipping around. However, using the equipment will deplete it’s gas, requiring a pit stop refill where Eren finds a NPC and refuels. It also notes that blades can get dull or weak when used too often on titans, requiring another NPC pit stop to get replacements.

The second trailer shows how Eren can recruit team members while in the field. They’ll be standing around an area and interacting with them will add them to your team. Up to four members can be in a party. They’ll support Eren and can be directed to aid in pincer attacks. If the situation seems too difficult, each mission will also have a secondary mission that will increase allies’ loyalty and strength if undertaken.
