Indie studio Nostalgico has announced that it is working with Atlus as a publisher to released its action-RPG Cryamore for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U in the summer of 2016.

When explaining why it chose Atlus out of the many publishers that had contacted them, the team at Nostalgico said that “Cryamore fits right at home with Atlus’ core demographic, and Atlus felt this way too.”

Cryamore was successfully raised $242,309 for its development on Kickstarter back in March 2013. It’s set on Noka island where the inhabitants have discovered a mineral called “cryamore” that can power everything from technology to humans. The problem is that it has caused monsters to appear all over the island.

You play as Esmyrelda Maximus (or Esmy) after she is hired to search for alternate power sources and end the monster dilemma. You’ll need to use different elemental cryamores to change Esmy’s abilities in order to defeat monsters and solve puzzles. There are nine different elements with a total combination of 81 elemental abilities.

Time is also a critical element to the game: as the in-game clock ticks on, shops will open and close, rare monsters will appear and disappear, and even some puzzles have to be solved at specific times. A demo of Cryamore is planned to arrive in October.
