Those of you waiting to hear an announcement for a possible Persona 5 or Yakuza 0 release on PC or Nintendo Switch are out of luck for now, as Atlus says that it’s not happening.
The information comes from Atlus USA and SEGA of America’s PR Manager, John Hardin, who had the following message to share over on Twitter:
Persona 5 platforms: PS3, PS4.
Yakuza 0 platforms: PS4.THAT’S. IT.
No Switch. No PC. Idk about the box label, that’s a Sony thing. pic.twitter.com/8R3Qj36deA

If you’re wondering about the “label” that Hardin is talking about, it’s basically because fans noticed Yakuza 0’s packaging have the label saying that it’ll be a “PlayStation 4 console exclusive,” which suggests a possible PC version down the road. As for Persona 5, it doesn’t have any mention of it being console or PlayStation exclusive, which also got a similar reaction from fans.
Persona 5 releases in North America and Europe on April 4, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Yakuza 0 will release in North America and Europe on January 24, 2017 for PlayStation 4.
