Atelier Ryza Switch Physical Copies Will Be Restocked

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

There’s good news for people who always try to get retail copies of games when they can. An Atelier Ryza Switch physical restock is coming to Amazon. Koei Tecmo took to Twitter to announce a new North American run. Though, as Wario64 pointed out, a limited number also appeared on Amazon on September 28, 2020. An exact date for the new copies hasn’t been announced, but Koei Tecmo’s tweet said they “will be coming soon.”

While PlayStation 4 physical copies of Atelier Ryza have been relatively easy to find, the Switch retail copies are much rarer. At the moment ahead of the restock, the cheapest copy on Amazon was being sold by another seller for $99.97 before shipping. The eBay prices are more reasonable, with UK copies around $45. If someone can find it at GameStop, it goes for $59.99 new and $54.99 used.

This means people will have a chance to perhaps pick up a physical copy of the game ahead of the sequel’s release. Atelier Ryza 2 will be heading to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 this year. It brings back characters like Ryza, Klaudia, Tao, Bos, and Lent, though they’re all a little more grown-up.

Atelier Ryza is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC. The Atelier Ryza Switch physical copies will be back on Amazon “soon.” Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in Japan on December 3, 2020, with a near-simultaneous worldwide release targeted.
