Koei Tecmo are working on a Warriors-style game for The Heroic Legend of Arslan, and they’re developing it with the goal of keeping its appearance as close as possible to the recent anime series. Here are the latest screenshots, including a look at Daryun.

Additionally, Koei Tecmo producer Shigeto Nakadai also had a few details to share in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. According to the producer, Arslan and his comrades will have various weapons in Arslan Senki x Musou, and they’ll have their own characteristics that fans will get to try out for themselves.

There’s a lot of effort being put into the visuals of the game to match the looks and feel of the anime, but Nakadai says that the story will also be another part Omega Force are working hard on, including lines and scenes, which are some of the parts they’ve paid close attention to.

As for event scenes, they’ll be shown in seamless fashion going from the event to battle, as a way to provide a smoother storytelling experience without taking away from the tempo of the action.

Nakadai also says that there will be parts in combat that weren’t shown in the anime; however, they’re small bits that won’t influence the main story, since they’d like to keep intact the elements that fans have seen in the show.

Arslan Senki x Musou will release in Japan in Fall 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
