We were wondering what happened to Entersphere, the video game studio founded by Pikmin writer Motoi Okamoto. Entersphere focused on making social games, but shifted gears and created Army Corps of Hell for the PlayStation Vita’s launch. Square Enix published the game worldwide and made a silly video series to promote the game.
Earlier this year, Marvelous AQL acquired Entersphere. Marvelous AQL is known for games like Muramasa Rebirth, Rune Factory, Harvest Moon, and Senran Kagura. The acquisition doesn’t mean Entersphere is limited to making social games. The Tokyo based company will develop a variety of high quality content in the future. What those things are haven’t been announced. Perhaps, Entersphere will work on some PlayStation Vita games since Marvelous AQL has been working on so many Vita titles.
For more about Entersphere read our interview with the company’s CEO Motoi Okamoto.
