It’s about to get much easier to get the Charcadet evolutions Armarouge and Ceruledge in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, thanks to Tera Raids. Both characters will appear in them in February 2023. They will only be available for one weekend, however. Starting on February 3, 2023, people will get a chance to fight and catch an already-evolved version of either character.
As these are version-exclusive evolutions, the Tera Raid you’ll see in-game will depend on which one you own. In Pokemon Scarlet, there will be a Armarouge Tera Raids. These will be four and five-star fights. In Pokemon Violet, Ceruledge Tera Raids will appear. However, if you have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription and head to the Poke Portal, you will be able to take part in fights from the other game if and when they appear.
In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Charcadet needs a certain item to evolve in-game. In Scarlet, you can take 10 Bronzor Fragments to an NPC in Zapapico for Auspicious Armor. In Violet, you need to bring 10 Sinistea Chips to trade for Malicious Armor. You then use that armor on the Charcadet to evolve it.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available for the Nintendo Switch, and the Armarouge and Ceruledge Tera Raids will run February 3-5, 2023.
