The original Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi released in Japan back in July 2015 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game was an expansion to Sengoku Basara 4 which released on the PS3 in January 2014. The game is essentially a bundle that features the game plus 66 pieces of DLC to go with it.

The physical version of the game will be available for 5,990 yen plus tax. It comes with the following items:

  • Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi Anniversary Edition software for PS4
  • Weapon item product code (10 DLC pieces)
  • Special art box
  • Special booklet “Sengoku Heroes 15th Anniversary Records” (80-page booklet, size: 170mm x 135mm)

Since this special release is made for the Sengoku Basara series’ 15th anniversary, the fully-colored book will come with exclusive interviews with the creators and plenty of character artwork. As for the 66 DLC, it includes music sets from previous games, including extra tracks by T.M. Revolution, Abingdon Boys School, and Chiaki Ishikawa.

The digital version of the game will be available for 5,445 yen plus tax. Those who already own the original Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi will get the option to purchase the 66 DLC in a special DLC-only bundle.

Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi Anniversary Edition will release in Japan for the PlayStation 4 on July 21, 2020.
