Aquaplus 30th Anniversary Itasha Cars Will Be Sold via Lottery

Aquaplus will sell new Itasha cars to help celebrate its 30th anniversary. The game company known for franchises like Utawarerumono and To Heart is working with Hike and J.I.O Create to sell the cars via lottery, which will run throughout November 2024. People who want to participate in this lottery must have a valid Japanese driving license and a parking space certificate to actually use and store the cars.

The companies will sell a total of three Itasha cars in this campaign. The Toyota GR Yaris will be available at 4.5 million yen (~$29,600), while the Suzuki Swift Sport will cost 3 million yen (~$19,730). The third and last car at 4.5 million yen will be a Toyota 86 or Subaru BRZ, depending on the winner’s choice.

After closing applications for the lottery at the end of November 2024, J.I.O Create will procure a used car for each specified model, although the winners can also specify the exact year model and transmission. The winning buyers can also pay more to request extra customizations to the car in addition to the Itasha livery.

Here’s a general look at how the Aquaplus Itasha livery will look on each car model without additional customizations:

Applications for the lottery sales of Aquaplus 30th Anniversary Itasha customized cars will be available on November 1-30, 2024.
