ANYCOLOR has posted a statement on X (formerly known as Twitter) concerning suspicious scam e-mails that have claimed to be from lawyers affiliated with Nijisanji. The entertainment agency has clarified that neither ANYCOLOR or Nijisanji has sent out any such e-mails, and warns recipients not to open any attachments or respond to said e-mails.
You can find the official statement concerning ANYCOLOR, Nijisanji, the impersonation of their lawyers, and the aforementioned scam below:
The statement mentions that suspicious e-mails are being sent from the “[email protected]” address, which has no affiliation to ANYCOLOR or Nijisanji. ANYCOLOR continues to warn consumers about opening or downloading any attachments, and that these emails, if received, should not be responded to. The statement also mentions that no personal information should be disclosed with the sender in question.
In October 2024, ANYCOLOR announced it would be taking legal action against defamation of the company and it’s Nijisanji subsidiary. This would include slander towards any agency associated with ANYCOLOR, of it’s talents, and violation of privacy rights. Another reason ANYCOLOR could potentially take legal action would be the impersonation of employees. Whether or not ANYCOLOR will take action against these scammers has yet to be seen.
