Anycolor is hiring part-time VTuber managers for Nijisanji. There are positions in both English and Japanese, though you’ll need to know native-level Japanese even if you plan to work with the English side.
Both positions pay 1113 JPY per hour, though Anycolor will fully compensate you on your transportation fees. After October 2024, this will raise to 1163 JPY. 1113 JPY would convert to $7.90 and 1163 JPY would be $8.30. For reference, you’ll be working in the Roppongi office and the minimum wage in Tokyo, as of October 2023, is 1113 JPY. This is also the same pay as the QA checker job that opened up at Anycolor in April 2024.
Your duties will consist of double-checking all Nijisanji content before they’re made public. Content includes videos, illustrations, merchandise, designs, and voice clips. You’ll also support the planning of official merchandise. Other duties include testing out official products before Nijisanji releases them and sending products to VTubers with Nijisanji. This is a part-time job for giving students experience before they enter the work field so Anycolor is only hiring people who plan on graduating after March 2026.
Students interested in working at Nijisanji as a VTuber manager can apply to the company via Talentio. If you want to work in the English department and you are capable of conversational English, on top of native-level Japanese, then the application for that is here.
