Animal Crossing: New Horizons Sendai Aquarium Collaboration Announced

The Sendai Umino-Mori aquarium in Japan will hold a special Animal Crossing: New Horizons event. The collaboration will begin on November 16, 2021 and last until January 10, 2022. Similar to the Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Hakkeijima Sea Paradise event, a special stamp rally will be held. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to eat from a Animal Crossing: New Horizons inspired menu. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

The event will not have special collaboration activities, but there will be special displays featuring Blathers. Attendees will, however, have the opportunity to scuba dive in a large tank. Additionally, a photography instructor will be available. Guests can also go to a special pool at the aquarium to see starfish, sea cucumbers, and scallops.

While the Sendai Umino-Mori aquarium will have a special Animal Crossing: New Horizons stamp rally happening during the event, guests will only receive a sticker for participation. However, attendees will be able to purchase collaboration merchandise like a clear file, a tote bag, and cookies.

In July 2021, Nintendo partnered with the Hakkeijima Sea Paradise aquarium amusement park in Yokohama, Japan. The collaboration event featured special activities and had unique merchandise available for purchase on location. The event lasted from July 12 to August 31, 2021.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch.
