This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

A new round of Animal Crossing: New Horizons Seasonal items has appeared in the Nook Shopping Catalog, so time to head to your Nook Phones or Residential Services. People can pick up the Hikoboshi and Orihime outfits for 2,500 bells each or buy a Rodeo-style springy ride-on decoration for 2,000 bells. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

As pointed out on Nintendo’s Japanese website, the Hikoboshi and Orihime outfits would both pair well with the Bamboo Grass that was the July 2020 seasonal item. This is because the Tanabata festival, which can be held in July or August, is about the couple Orihime and Hikoboshi, who fell in love at first sight and were so passionate about each other that they could only meet once each year.

In addition to the new Animal Crossing seasonal items, Nintendo released a new video looking at the different seasonal items you can find in-game. Soft-shelled turtles, rays, and rice grasshoppers are among the new creatures you’ll be able to find around your island. Also, every Sunday evening in August there will be a fireworks show.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for the Nintendo Switch. The latest New Horizons Seasonal Items will be available through Nook’s catalog until August 31, 2020.
