People will soon have another place to pick up Animal Crossing stuffed animals: Build a Bear. The company took to Twitter to confirm a new collection of toys. No characters or launch dates came up in the announcement. However, it did provide links to a teaser page on both the North American and UK websites.
The webpages themselves offer no additional information. The Animal Crossing: New Horizons logo is there, suggesting all Build-a-Bear character designs could be pulled from the Switch installment. People can also provide their email address, so they can receive updates about the collection of plush toys.
This is far from the first time Build-a-Bear worked with Nintendo. The company has an ongoing line of Pokemon plush toys. Some of the most recent ones announced included a December 2020 Dragonite and a February 2021 Mew. There were also Super Mario series bears and plushies in 2017. People could get a Mario bear, a Bowser, or a Yoshi. There was also a small Toad stuffed toy and accessories like outfits and handheld toys for the bears inspired by outfits and power-ups from the game.
The Animal Crossing Build-a-Bear collection will be available in its US and UK stores.
