Analogue announced that it will finally begin taking pre-orders for its Analogue 3D console designed to play all N64 games ever made. People can place an order starting at 9am PT/12pm ET on October 21, 2024, with black and white versions of the system available for $249.99 each.
The Analogue 3D console is designed to be an updated version of the Nintendo console, and it will play N64 games from any region. It will also feature WiFi and Bluetooth compatibility. People can use their original N64 controllers with it, the 8BitDo ones designed to match this system, or other compatible ones. Button-mapping is available for additional controllers, such as Xbox models. The company noted it took four years to make in FPGA to ensure full compatibility, and it said it outputs in 4K. Save states can be made and screenshots can be taken and shared.
If someone gets the $249.99 model, that gets them the system in either black or white, its power supply, and HDMI and USB cables. The black and white matching 8BitDo 64 bluetooth controllers are sold separately for $39.99 each.Â
The last major device from Analogue was the Pocket, which was designed to play all Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance games. People could also pick up adapters for additional handheld systems like the Game Gear, Lynx, and Neo Geo Pocket Color. The black and white versions of that handheld are available for $219.99 each.
Pre-orders for the Analogue 3D console that plays every N64 game ever made will open at 9am PT/12pm ET on October 21, 2024.
