People curious about how the Ori and the Blind Forest Nintendo Switch version will look and play will have a chance to get an early look at it. The European Nintendo Downloads update has confirmed that a demo for the game will appear on September 20, 2019, one week ahead of its debut on the system. This trial was only mentioned in the Nintendo Europe announcements and did not come up in the North American Nintendo Downloads roundup.

As a reminder, the Definitive Edition of Ori and the Blind Forest has a number of extra features that were absent in the original release. When people begin, they can go with the Easy, Normal, Hard, or One-Life difficulty levels. (Normal was the only option at launch.) People can take Ori to Black Root Burrows and Lost Grove, eventually get Dash and Light Burst abilities, and Fast Travel to Spirit Wells.

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will come to the Nintendo Switch on September 27, 2019. It is immediately available on the Xbox One and PC.
