Alternative Final Fight: Double Impact Games

Final Fight: Double Impact always contained Final Fight (it is the title game), but not Magic Sword.

“Fun fact: The other games we considered for Final Fight: Double Impact second billing were Black Tiger and Forgotten Worlds. Maybe next time,” Kraig Kujawa, Design Director, tweeted.

Both of those arcade games predate Final Fight. Black Tiger was hack and slash game which had Zenny as a currency. Forgotten Worlds is an auto-scrolling shooter, quite different from the other three games.

Maybe we’ll see those games as downloads with fancy virtual arcade cabinets if Final Fight: Double Impact sells well and Capcom digs out another anchor game. Alone, Black Tiger probably wouldn’t get much attention.
