Since it’s original release in 2004, the game has seen more than a handful of expansions add new content, races, and classes into the the MMO. While some of these expansions have come and gone, Blizzard Entertainment has provided several ways to experience the game in various forms. For example, those wanting to dive in and experience World of Warcraft as it was during “Vanilla” can make a character on the Classic Era or Season of Discovery servers. And Blizzard Entertainment has also made previous expansions available to play through Classic, which progresses through the MMORPG’s storied history of expansions.
