JRPG fans ate well in 2023, with stellar releases like Final Fantasy XVI, Sea of Stars, and Chained Echoes. The new year’s roster of games looks very promising, so let’s look at the upcoming JRPGs we can’t wait to get our hands on in 2024.
I hope you’ve made it through your JRPG backlog (as if that’s even possible) because 2024 is coming out of the gate swinging with great JRPG titles. There’s a lot to enjoy here, whether you’re into smaller scale or more AAA experiences.
We’ve compiled a list of 2024’s upcoming releases and what platforms you can play them on. However, this list does not include ports such as the Octopath Traveler II Xbox release. Remasters, however, will be considered new releases and on the list.
