Starfield contains 24 Starborn powers in total for you to collect and use. These powers radically change the way you play the game, similar to the Shouts from Skyrim. You’ll need to progress through the Constellation main storyline to start unlocking these powers one by one by visiting special temples.
How to get all Starborn Powers in Starfield
The only problem with finding the Starborn powers in Starfield is the RNG effect. Though all players are able to get the same 24 powers, the temple locations are completely randomized (for the most part) throughout the more than 1,000 planets in the game. This means the temple locations can even change in New Game+ if you decide to jump back into the post-game mode.
This makes it difficult to explain where each Starborn ability is located since you might have a power in one system while another player has it in a totally different location. Here are all of the Starborn powers you can unlock in Starfield, what they do, and which temple you are able to get them at:
- Alien Reanimation: Temple Phi. Bring a dead alien nearby back to life to fight for you for a time.
- Anti-Gravity Field: Temple Eta. Create a force field that paralyzes enemies for a time.
- Create Vacuum: Temple Gamma. Stop all nearby enemies from being able to breathe temporarily.
- Creators’ Peace: Temple No. Stops enemies from fighting temporarily and disarms them.
- Earthbound: Temple Epsilon. Makes the gravity the same as Earth’s.
- Elemental Pull: Temple Psi. Gathers all nearby resources for you.
- Eternal Harvest: Temple Lambda. Instantly brings back any flora around you.
- Grav Dash: Temple Zeta. Lets you dash forward and boost your damage at the same time.
- Gravity Wave: Temple Beta. Sends a wave that knocks down foes.
- Gravity Well: Temple Delta. Pulls in nearby foes and crushes them.
- Inner Demon: Temple Upsilon. Create a copy of an enemy target that attacks them.
- Life Forced: Temple Pi. Drain the life from enemies and heal yourself.
- Moon Form: Temple Rho. This form gives you impressive resistance to all damage types for a time.
- Parallel Self: Temple Sigma. Summon a copy of yourself to fight for you for a time.
- Particle Beam: Temple Omega. It lets you fire off a massive beam that deals impressive damage to foes.
- Personal Atmosphere: Temple Alpha. Give yourself unlimited oxygen for a time.
- Phased Time: Buried Temple. Slow down everything around you temporarily.
- Precognition: Temple Iota. Peer into the future and see what dialogue and actions someone will make.
- Reactive Shield: Temple Tau. Boost your resistances for a time and reflect off ranged attacks.
- Sense Star Stuff: Temple Chi. Lets you detect any life near you.
