The World of Warcraft 20th Anniversary Celebration brings with it a sizable content update for players to explore and experience. Among the many additions and changes coming to the game in the near future is the expansion of classes available to the Dracthyr race. Added to World of Warcraft in its Dragonflight expansion, the Dracthyr initially only had access to their unique Evoker class. The 20th Anniversary Celebration will change that, giving players who want to play Dracthyr a broader selection of classes to choose from. The list of new classes Dracthyr will be able to choose from are as follows:
- Hunter
- Rogue
- Priest
- Mage
- Warrior
- Warlock
There won’t be any special requirements to unlocking these for the Dracthyr. Accessing them will be as simple as creating a new character, selecting the Dracthyr race, and choosing whichever class you prefer.
You might be wondering how your Dracthyr forms will operate when playing these classes. With the exception of the Evoker class, which will still force you into your Dracthyr form in combat, the new playable classes will allow you to remain in whichever form you’re currently using. If you still enjoy the idea of switching into Dracthyr form when entering combat, the “Chosen Identity” ability will automatically swap between the two forms for you. As mentioned before, you won’t be able to play these classes as a Dracthyr until the 20th Anniversary Celebration update drops.
