The real “end” of My Hero Academia manga started around chapter 343, with the heroes using All for One’s plan to get One for All from Izuku “Deku” Midoriya against him. Even though Yuga “Shining Hero: Can’t Stop Twinkling” Aoyama was his spy, he sides with his classmates and pros to create a Counter-Force. Part of that involved everyone around to fight splitting up. So UA High School itself became a fortress and base. Shoto Todoroki went to face Dabi. (Dabi ends up on life support after the fight is over.) Ochaco “Uravity” and Tsuyu “Froppy” Asui headed to face Himiko Toga. (Himiko dies to save Uravity’s life.) Present Mic handled Shuichi “Spinner” Iguchi. (Spinner survives and becomes an author who wrote about the villains.) Endeavor and Hawks fought All for One. (All for One regressed due to Rewind, disappearing.) As a note, Katsuki “ Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight” Bakugo almost died as a result of this due to an attack from Tomura Shigaraki during these fights, but his own Quirk saved him and he aided Endeavor and Hawks in beating All for One.

This left Deku to deal with Tomura, head of the Paranormal Liberation Front, and prevent him from using his Decay Quirk to destroy everything. By this point, Deku could use the abilities of everyone who used One for All before. The two ended up in the One for All realm together. Deku attempted to transfer One for All to Tomura to end things, but initially it failed. It’s during this fight that Deku got to see inside what Tomura, Tenko Shimura, went through and how his Decay Quirk appeared. The two finally reached each other, but Deku’s arms decayed in the process. With Tomura/Tenko defeated and One for All gone, All for One returned. Heroes like Eraser Head, Cellophane, Sugarman, and Tailman appeared at that point. Eraser Head gives Deku Eri’s horn, which gets him his arms back, and Deku notes he still has the embers of One for All despite losing it.

Deku then heads into the fight against All for One, in Tomura’s body, alongside the other heroes. His allies helped Deku race toward and reach All for One to attack him. Super Regeneration stopped working, so Deku’s attacks are dealing damage and causing hi to fall apart. Alongside what’s left of Tomura and all the other One for All vestiges, Deku beats All for One.

From there, chapters that led up to the final 430 installment dealt with showing the aftermath. We saw Deku, Dynamight, and All Might in the hospital, with Dynamight assuring he won’t need prosthetics to replace his right arm and learning Deku gave up One for All. Some chapters showed students returning to school and characters like Uravity and Shoto dealing with their own recovery and losses. We also see how the influence of people like Deku is causing other people to reach out and help one another.

After the timeskip, we get a peek at everyone’s future in My Hero Academia eight years after the ending. Even though Izuku Midoriya is now Quirk-less, he’s working at UA High School as a teacher. We see that Izuku’s former allies Dynamight, Shoto, Uravity, Froppy, Momo “Creati” Yaoyorozu, Tenya “Ingenium” Ida, and Mirio Togata are working as professional heroes. Mai Hatsume’s Lightly Labs is famous. Gentle and La Bravia run a company called Gel. We also see Izuku still has his hero tendencies, including when he meets a young boy named Dai who wants to attend UA and become a hero.

The My Hero Academia manga ending closed out with Izuku getting his chance to be Deku again. All Might returns with a suit made by Lightly Labs and someone who is presumed to be Melissa Shield. Dynamight and all of Deku’s friends paid to have it made, so he can again have access to his Quirk and fight alongside them as a hero again. So the series ends with Deku once again becoming a hero.

The My Hero Academia manga is handled outside of Japan by Viz Media, and the final three chapters are available to read on MangaPlus and Viz Media. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll.
