How to Get Mega Evolutions in Pokemon GO

Mega Evolutions in Pokemon GO allow certain Pokemon to temporarily evolve into a stronger version of themselves, known as their Mega form. Utilizing Mega Evolutions strategically in Pokemon GO can be a game-changer during challenging raids and PvP battles.

To achieve this transformation, trainers must collect Mega Energy specific to each Pokémon, which can be obtained through various in-game activities such as completing raids and special research tasks.

The initial transformation requires a significant amount of Mega Energy, but subsequent transformations by the same Pokemon are free. Mega Energy can also be used to reset the cooldown period between Mega Evolutions. Additionally, your buddy Pokemon can find Mega Energy in the same way they find candies, making it easier to maintain and utilize Mega Evolutions.
