To get a job in LEGO Fortnite Brick Life, simply approach an NPC at any business and select “Hire Me!” Once hired, your new job title will appear under your name, and you’ll start receiving tasks from the relevant NPC. You can only accept one job at a time, though you’re free to switch whenever you like.

You’ll gain a notification on your in-game phone whenever your job has a new task for you. Diamond Hanz will occasionally alert you of “Trending Jobs” between 9 AM and 5PM, which awards extra cash. Don’t worry; that’s in-game time, which passes at a rate of one minute every real-life second.

You can accept Trending Jobs through the “Jobs” app on your Phone without needing to visit an establishment first. These Trending Jobs offer far more cash than regular jobs, so be sure to pick them up if you need fast cash.

Judging by the number of closed off buildings in LEGO Fortnite Brick Life, such as the Arcade, it’s likely that more jobs will be introduced as time goes on.

If you can’t find an NPC to accept a job from, such as Fennix the Scoundrel boss, there’s a chance that another player has moved them using a vehicle. While pretty hilarious, let’s hope that bug gets patched soon.

LEGO Fortnite Brick Life is free to play on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and select mobile devices.
