Back in October, Nintendo held a special Nintendo Direct presentation in Japan for Animal Crossing: New Leaf, where the game’s developers played through a portion of the game, detailing its new features. This presentation has now been subtitled in English by Nintendo and made available for viewing. Watch it below:

Animal Crossing: New Leaf will be released on June 9th in North America and June 14th in Europe.

This special Nintendo Direct has been cited by Nintendo as one of the reasons that word-of-mouth for Animal Crossing: New Leaf began to spread in Japan. After its showing in October, the presentation racked up 1.1 million viewers in less than a month and made it onto the Japanese YouTube charts.
