Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed PS4 and Switch Copies Appear in Product Listings

Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed, the remaster of the first Akiba’s Trip game, will apparently release on the PS4 and Switch on May 20, 2021 in Japan. The information comes from a now-deleted Yodobashi product page. [Thanks, @Renka_schedule.]

We don’t have a price for the standard edition, but a limited edition will be available for both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan. It will cost 8,330 yen (~$81) for the Switch version and 7,900 yen (~$77) for the PS4 version. The limited edition will include a 40-page, full-color art book and a reprint of a 132-page unbranded guide book that was available with the first game. It will also include a two-disc original soundtrack.

XSEED announced the remaster’s Western localization for the PS4 and PC in September 2019.

Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed will release for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on May 20, 2021. The game is in development for the PS4 and PC for the West.
