A missing Akiba’s Trip installment is finally going to be released outside of Japan. XSEED Games revealed it will bring Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed to the PlayStation 4 and PC. This Acquire game is a remake of the original Akiba’s Trip, which first appeared on the PlayStation Portable in Japan in 2011 and received an Akiba’s Trip Plus update in 2012.

In Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed, the player ends up getting involved in a war against the Shadow Souls. These are vampire-like creatures. To defeat them, you have to rip off their clothes and expose them to sunlight. This remaster will rebuild the game in a new engine and in HD, bringing people back to Akihabara.
