AeternoBlade II has a release window. Corecell Technology’s sequel will be released in the first quarter of 2019. That is also when the actual release date will be announced. The game itself is still in development, though it has entered the final phase.
AeternoBlade II was first announced in October 2015. Like the original, it is a side-scrolling action game where the avatar wields the AeternoBlade time artifacts, weapons that can influence time when used. Freyja’s is the AeternoBlade of Past and can rewind, Bernard’s is the AeternoBlade of Present, which can pause time, and Felix’s is the AeternoBlade of Future, which lets him make a copy of his actions, then temporarily go back a bit and perform an action at the same time as the copy of himself he made. Its first screenshots appeared in May 2017.
AeternoBlade II will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Q1 2019. The original AeternoBlade is available for the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One.
