Aerith Can Use Terra’s Riot Blade in Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis

Square Enix’s latest Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis FFVI event teaser reveals that Aerith will get to use Riot Blade, one of Terra’s signature moves, in the game. It will be tied to her exclusive event weapon, which is called Terra’s Rod. 

Riot Blade will be the C Ability for the Terra’s Rod weapon you can get for Aerith in the Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis FFVI gacha.  This is fitting as it, which you may recognize as Terra’s Desperation Attack special ability from the original game. It was known for doing general magical damage in FFVI, and it also does so here. All enemies take non-elemental magical damage with the ranged assault. Unlike Terra’s Riot Blade, Aerith’s also can reduce elemental resistance to other types of magic if her Overboost is maxed out.

The last time Square Enix talked about the crossover, it was to reveal new pieces of equipment. The First Soldier version of Angeal will get gear and a sword based on Cyan’s. 

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is available for mobile devices and PCs, and the FFVI event begins later on October 30, 2024.
