Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King, a cute take on A Link to the Past that has players guiding a plucky heroine through the a top-down kingdom filled with danger and hidden dungeons, is going portable with its Nintendo Switch release.

Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King follows Lily, a young Knight of the Rose, who’s out to defeat the evil wizard Crocuswho’s cast a sleeping spell on the king. To fight the wizard and awaken the king, players will have to comb the countryside for four dungeons, finding helpful items and abilities to deal with the creatures within and find the tools they need to save the kingdom.

Lily’s adventure can get a bit more complicated at times due to its narration, though. The entire story is being delivered to some over-energetic grandkids who tend to interject with bizarre elements, adding new challenges to the fights the player is dealing with. These may be difficult to deal with at times, but are often humorous, adding a laugh even as they throw tons of opponents or silly elements at the player.
