Kwan (formerly known as Argos Studios), the folks behind post-apocalyptic adventure/visual novel game Exogenesis ~Perils of Rebirth~ have headed to Kickstarter for funding. As part of their bid, they’ve also released a meaty demo of the game on the page for people to try out.

Exogenesis is an adventure/visual novel hybrid game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Kwan say the game will have heavy amounts of character interaction. The point-and-click game is expected to span 10 hours or more, and features you as Yudai Sayashi.

As Yudai, it’s your task to wrangle up his disbanded group of treasure hunters and convince them to help him find the mythical Noah’s Ark—which houses the key to returning his dead sister Miho to life. If this means getting incriminating evidence against them to coerce and cajole them along, so be it.

The game will also feature logical puzzles and multiple endings.

Kwan are working in tandem with Quickfire Games, the dev team who successfully Kickstarted their own mature take on the farming genre with Wild Season.

Exogenesis ~Perils of Rebirth~ will be available on PC, Mac and Linux, and you can back it here.
