Back in January 2020, Sony brought the PlayStation 4 Back Button the the world. This accessory would allow people to add extra remappable buttons to the back of their DualShock 4. There would also be game-relayed information appearing on the peripheral’s OLED screen. It ended up becoming relatively hard to find. Now, Sony has announced a PS4 back button restock for the United States.
Here’s Sony’s announcement confirming more are on the way. As a reminder, this device is $29.99. Its tweet didn’t mention an exact date beyond “next week,” which would mark the beginning of June 2020.
Miss out on the DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment when it came out? Good news — we’re making more available in the US. Get it here starting next week: https://t.co/sUh1vCuk9B pic.twitter.com/Vso60x7Xsd

However, Wario64 noted that GameStop is once again accepting orders for its PS4 back button restock. The date on that product page says people can expect their orders to begin shipping on June 5, 2020. (Which would fit perfectly in line with Sony’s “next week” estimate.)
The PS4 back button is immediately available worldwide, though it can prove difficult to find. People in the United States can expect to see more in stores at the beginning of June 2020.
