After skipping Virtual Console releases for a few weeks, Nintendo puts Super Star Wars online.
You can download Lucasarts’ side-scrolling, Mode 7 Jawa shooting, Star Wars video game for 800 Wii Points ($8). This week’s WiiWare releases are NyxQuest: Kindered Spirits, and Rock n’ Roll Climber, a rock climbing simulator that supports the Balance Board.
In addition to the rest of the Super Star Wars games other Super Nintendo classics may be coming to Virtual Console.
Final Fight 2 was rated by the OFLC in Australia with Nintendo as the publisher suggesting Capcom’s beat ’em up is on deck for a re-release. Nintendo also re-trademarked Super Mario Collection, better known as Super Mario All-Stars, in Japan last month. Perhaps, it’s an early sign that Super Mario All-Stars become a Virtual Console title soon. Now’s a good time to re-release All-Stars too. Anyone who purchased the NES versions of Super Mario Brothers 1-3 and The Lost Levels from the Wii Shopping channel would have done so by now.
