Trine 2 was originally supposed to release this spring, but Atlus have moved the PC, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network game’s release date back to “late summer.” On the bright side, they also released a new trailer for the game, which shows off a few of the new moves and simpler puzzles.
When we last spoke to developer Frozenbyte’s CEO, Lauri Hyvärinen, he told us that Trine 2 features improvements all around, including in its physics to prevent “unwanted physics behaviour” that was present in the first game.
Hyvärinen also talked about the game’s characters and how puzzles have been changed to suit their new abilities. You can read both parts of our Trine 2 interview with Frozenbyte here and here.
