A Look At Natsume’s Collection Of Failed Plushies

Natsume, who publish the Harvest Moon games in North America, are often in the habit of giving away plushies, whether it’s along with Harvest Moon or Rune Factory pre-orders, or whether it’s through contests and other giveaways.

What we usually get to see are the plushies in their final form, but this week, Natsume uploaded a photograph of “failed” models:

 

They explain on their Facebook page: “Our plushies are wildly popular, but crafting the perfect cuddly creature can have some ups and downs. Here’s a partial shot of our…"creative initiatives" pile, where we keep some of the more entertaining failed models. Whether it’s too big or small, lacking feet or horns, or just plain wacky, our plushies usually go through 3-4 ‘practice’ models before we finalize our design ideas!”
