A Kirby Plush With USB Warmer Will Be Available Again

Bandai will sell a Kirby plush with an internal warmer in Japan. Pre-orders of the item will be available on Premium Bandai from February 9 to 16, 2021 for 5,480 yen (~$52). The plushies are expected to be delivered in March 2021. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

This plush comes with a USB-powered warmer installed inside its cute body. By simply connecting the attached cable to any USB port for about 30 seconds, it will generate a warm temperature of around 42-46°C (107.6-114.8°F). You can even use a mobile power bank for cuddling a warm Kirby plush anywhere you go.

This is actually the third time the plush has gone on sale in Japan. It made its debut on November 18, 2020. However, the initial stock ran out quickly within a few hours. The second batch of pre-orders was opened exactly a month later, on December 18, 2020.

Another Kirby plush in an enormous size, albeit lacking an internal warmer, is also currently being sold by Takara Tomy. But no matter which plush you choose, you will definitely be able to feel Kirby’s warmth.

The latest Kirby game to date is Kirby Fighters 2, which is immediately available digitally on Nintendo Switch. Directors from HAL Laboratory have also teased more Kirby merchandise and games to come in 2021.
