A Horror Game Where You Play As A Two Year Old Child

Among the Sleep is a first-person horror game where you play as a two year old child. You wake up alone in your bed to strange things happening around your house. As you get out of bed and start to explore the world around you, you’ll make your way through environments that mix a child’s imagination with surreal dreams. The ultimate goal appears to be to find your parents.

Developer Krillbite Studio say that Among the Sleep will have no traditional combat or fighting whatsoever. Instead, there will be threats hiding in every shadow and you’ll need to find places in the environment to hide from them and avoid confrontation. (You are a two-year-old, after all.) Examples of this include hiding under furniture or in cupboards. While there will be certain puzzle elements to the game as well, the main focus is on exploration and horror.

Among the Sleep is slated for release on PC, Mac and Linux in late 2013. For anyone interested in the Oculus Rift VR device, the game will support that as well.
