Robin is a new 5-star Physical Harmony character from Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.2, and she takes a fairly unique build that heavily relies on her ATK stat. This guide will break down the best Honkai Star Rail Robin Build and explain which Light Cones and Relics you should be using with her.
Best Honkai Star Rail Robin Build (HSR)
Robin is a very universal Harmony character who can buff ATK, Crit DMG, and DMG for the entire party. Both her Crit DMG and DMG buffs increase a percentage of an ally’s stats, and you can boost this percentage by leveling up the corresponding Trace. For her ATK boost, it scales off a percentage of Robin’s ATK, which means that she really only needs ATK to be useful. You can also give her Physical DMG boosting Relics to increase how much DMG she deals with when in the Concerto state, which is her main usage in battle.
As a note, compared to other Harmony characters like Sparkle or Yukong, Robin does not require any SPD tuning. This makes her very useful if you want to make the most of your support, as you won’t have to fiddle around with Relics to accommodate other party members. This is mostly because the bulk of her usage comes from the Concerto state, which already has a fixed SPD stat tied to it.
Best Robin Light Cones in Honkai: Star Rail
- Flowing Nightglow
As Robin’s signature Light Cone, it stands to reason this is her best-in-slot. This is a pretty generic Harmony Light Cone, which means it can be useful for other characters, too. It increases her Energy Regeneration Rate, as well as increases her ATK and all allies’ DMG when she uses her Ultimate. - But the Battle Isn’t Over
Like Flowing Nightglow, But the Battle Isn’t Over increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate. It can also increase how much DMG the ally takes action after Robin deals if she uses her Skill. While I mentioned earlier that SPD tuning isn’t necessary, you might want to consider messing around with her SPD in a party who takes a turn after her is an attacker so that you can take advantage of this. - For Tomorrow’s Journey
For Tomorrow’s Journey is an event Light Cone you can get for free after completing Clockie: Dreamjoy Memoir. It increases the wearer’s ATK, as well as how much DMG they do after they use their Ultimate. On paper, it’s not that impressive. But at S5 (which is easy to obtain because, again, this is an event Light Cone), it should rival her signature in terms of DPS. - Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds
This is a useful 4-star Light Cone that’s only available if you paid for Nameless Glory. It applies random beneficial effects to all allies at the start of battle and the start of the wearer’s turn. The ATK and Energy Regeneration Rate boost, in particular, are useful to Robin. - Meshing Cogs
Though Meshing Cogs is a 3-star Light Cone, it’s very useful for Robin because she wants to be in the Concerto state as often as possible. At S5, it restores an additional 8 Energy to Robin every time she uses an attack or gets hit. This works well with her Sequential Passage Bonus Trace, which gives 5 bonus Energy every time she uses her Skill.
Here are the Best Robin Relics in Honkai: Star Rail
When choosing Relics for Robin, you’ll want to prioritize her ATK, Physical DMG, and Energy Regeneration Rate. You don’t really need to focus on her SPD. If you’re worried about your sustain, you can also try giving Robin some HP or DEF stats to make sure she doesn’t die.
- 2-pc Musketeer of Wild Wheat, 2-pc Champion of Streetwise Boxing
This is a chimera set for Robin that combines the Musketeer’s ATK boost with Champion’s Physical ATK boost. This combination focuses almost entirely on Robin’s Concerto state, and you can adjust her DEF and whatnot using substats. - 2-pc Musketeer of Wild Wheat, 2-pc Prisoner in Deep Confinement
Unlike the above chimera set, this one focuses entirely on ATK. This will increase how much she can buff allies, as well as how much damage she can deal with Concerto. Because the Prisoner Cavern of Corrosion has Relics that correspond with the past DoT meta and the current (2.2) FuA meta, players may actually already have useful pieces for Robin in their inventory. - Sprightly Vonwacq
Sprightly Vonwacq is one of the best Planar Ornaments for Robin because it can offer her an Energy Regeneration Rate increase. If your Robin is not the first character to move in battle, you can also give her some more SPD to reach the 120 threshold. Sprightly Vonwacq’s additional effect is to Advance Forward the wearer’s move when entering battle. Doing so will give Robin a chance to buff the party before the enemies can attack, as well as gain some Energy for her Ultimate. - Broken Keel
Broken Keel is a very good Planar Ornament Set for a support character because it can increase the party’s Crit DMG when the wearer has at least 30% Effect RES. Robin doesn’t actually need it; Concerto state helps her resist Crowd Control Debuffs. But 30% Effect RES is a pretty easy number to hit even with just her substats, so it’s worth a try. - Space Sealing Station
This Planar Ornament Set increases Robin’s ATK, which helps her buff her allies even more. You will need to have a minimum of 120 SPD if you want that extra 12% buff. - Firmament Frontline: Glamoth
Like Space Sealing Station, this increases how much ATK Robin has. If you have her at 120 or 160 SPD, she deals more DMG. Robin doesn’t exactly need that much SPD, but if you’re able to get her to those numbers, it doesn’t hurt.
Honkai: Star Rail is now available on PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. You can only pull for Robin when the “Just Intonation” banner is live.
