What are the best Light Cones for a Pela build in Honkai: Star Rail?

Pela’s main feature is her ability to shred an enemy’s DEF stat, which in turn boosts the damage your allies can dish out against it. Because of this, you need to ensure the Silvermane Guards officer has an Effect Hit Rate above 65%, which guarantees her defensive debuff applies to all enemies. With that in mind, the best Pela Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail is Before the Tutorial Mission Starts. The weapon not only boosts her Effect Hit Rate by 20%, but it also regenerates 4 Energy each time she attacks an enemy that has a lowered DEF stat.

Unfortunately, Before the Tutorial Mission Starts was only available as a reward for completing the Silver Wolf Punklorde Companion Mission during the Starhunt Game event. If you missed out on the timed mission, don’t panic! Pela has plenty of additional Light Cone options that still turn her into an incredible support unit.

Below is a list of the best Light Cones for Pela:

  • Before the Tutorial Mission Starts: Increases the wearer’s Effect Hit Rate by 20%. When the wearer attacks enemies that have reduced DEF, regenerates 4 Energy.
  • Incessant Rain: Increases the wearer’s Effect Hit Rate by 24%. When the wearer deals DMG to an enemy that currently has 3 or more debuffs, increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 12%. After the wearer uses their Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate, there is a 100% base chance to implant Aether Code on a random hit target that does not yet have it. Targets with Aether Code receive 12% increased DMG for 1 turn.
  • Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat: When the wearer hits an enemy and if the hit enemy is not already Ensnared, then there is a 60% base chance to Ensnare the hit enemy. Ensnared enemies’ DEF decreases by 12% for 1 turn(s).
  • In the Name of the World: Increases the wearer’s DMG to debuffed enemies by 24%. When the wearer uses their Skill, the Effect Hit Rate for this attack increases by 18%, and ATK increases by 24%.
  • Good Night and Sleep Well: For every debuff the target enemy has, the DMG dealt by the wearer increases by 12%, stacking up to 3 time(s). This effect also applies to DoT.
  • Void: At the start of the battle, the wearer’s Effect Hit Rate increases by 20% for 3 turn(s)

What are the best Relics for a Pela build in Honkai: Star Rail?

While you may be tempted to focus solely on her ICE DMG, Pela actually benefits most from having high SPD and HP stats. This not only keeps her alive in battle, but it also allows her to spam her defense debuff as soon as possible. The best Pela Relics in Honkai: Star Rail is the Musketeer of Wild Wheat and the Pan-Cosmic Commercial Enterprise sets.

With the Pan-Cosmic Commercial Enterprise Orb and Rope equipped, Pela will get an automatic 10% increase in her Effect Hit Rate while also buffing her ATK damage. Musketeer of Wild Wheat will allow the 4-Star Hero to move first in battle so she can immediately start shredding enemy defenses while also giving her an extra bump to her damage.

Here is the best relic set for Pela in Honkai: Star Rail:

  • Eagle of Twilight Line: The four-piece set Advances Forward Pela’s action by 12 percent after using her Ultimate, which she will be using a lot.
  • Musketeer of Wild Wheat – 2 Piece: ATK increases by 12% / 4 Piece: The wearer’s SPD increases by 6% and Basic ATK DMG increases by 10%.
  • Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters: increases all damage dealt to enemies afflicted by debuffs and increases the wearer’s damage against them based on how many debuffs they have.
  • Watchmaker Master of Dream Machinations and Messenger Traversing Hackerspace: this combination of two-piece sets works best for Pela if she is on a Break Effect team. The two-piece Watchmaker increases her overall Break Effect, while the two-piece Messenger increases her overall speed. Pela can’t benefit from either of these sets’ four-pieces, so they work best as a two-piece combination.

Note that the Hands and Head pieces are locked at Attack and HP, respectively, on every set.

These are the best Planar Ornament sets for Pela:

  • Pan-Cosmic Commercial Enterprise: Increases the wearer’s Effect Hit Rate by 10%. Meanwhile, the wearer’s ATK increases by an amount that is equal to 25% of the current Effect Hit Rate, up to a maximum of 25%.
  • Penacony, Land of Dreams: this set increases Pela’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 5 percent, which is useful because she requires a lot of energy. Furthermore, it will increase other Ice characters’ damage by ten percent.
  • Sprightly Vonwacq: this set increases Energy Regeneration by fiver percent. Furthermore, when Pela’s Speed stat is at 120 or higher, her action will be Advanced Forward by 40 percent at the start of battle. This is really useful if she’s paired with really fast teammates.

These are the stats you should prioritize for Pela:

  • Body: Effect Hit % or HP%
  • Feet: SPD
  • Sphere: HP% or Ice DMG
  • Rope: Energy Regen

As stated earlier, it’s incredibly important that you prioritize getting your Pela’s Effect Hit Rate above 65%. Once you’ve secured her ability to apply her DEF debuff to enemies consistently, you can then focus on her other stats. Players wanting Pela can unlock her for free during the Honkai: Star Rail Aetherium Wars event, which runs from October 11, 2023, until November 13, 2023.

Honakai: Star Rail is now available on iOS, Android, PC, and PlayStation 5.
