Misato Katsuragi Evangelion Nendoroid Releasing in 2024

Good Smile Company announced that the Misato Katsuragi Evangelion Nendoroid will be releasing in 2024. Misato Katsuragi was first revealed at WonHobby G 2023 for during the Autumn announcements.

The latest Evangelion Nendoroid is based on Misato Katsuragi from the Rebuild of Evangelion film series, and will cost ¥6,500 (~$44) from the Good Smile Online Shop for people ordering directly from Japan and $40.99 USD from the United States shop. The Misato Nendoroid will release October 2024 in Japan and Q1 2025 in North America. Pre-orders will remain open until January 18, 2024.

The Misato Nendoroid comes with a smiling face plate, a shouting face plate, and a winking face plate. The latest Evangelion Nendoroid will also come with a pistol, multiple body parts for different poses, and Pen Pen, Misato’s pet penguin. People who purchase the Misato Nendoroid from the official Good Smile Online Shop in Japan or the United States will receive a bonus arm and cellphone piece.

During WonHobby G 2023 as a part of the Autumn announcements, Good Smile Company also revealed that a Gendo Ikari Nendoroid is in development. Good Smile Company also recently rereleased the Shinji Ikari and Kaworu Nagisa Nendoroids. When combined together, the two Nendoroids could be made to recreate the poster for the third movie in the Rebuild of Evangelion film series, Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo. The Shinji and Kaworu Nendoroids are expected to ship in 2024.

The Misato Nendoroid will ship October 2024 in Japan and Q1 2025 in North America. The Rebuild of Evangelion movies are streaming on Amazon, while the anime series is available on Netflix.
