How to Invite Hello Kitty Island Adventure My Melody’s Mama, Papa, Grandma, and Grandpa Visitors

The new Hello Kitty Island Adventure update added My Melody’s Mama, Papa, Grandma, and Grandpa as Visitors. While not all of them are too demanding to convince to visit, some do involve waiting for them to actually travel or getting My Sweet Piano to move in.

How do I get My Melody’s family to become Hello Kitty Island Adventure visitors?

First, it’s important to know that not every member of My Melody’s family is always available to visit. My Melody’s Mama and Papa are like Dear Daniel. This means as long as there is a cabin they would like, they might stop by. Meanwhile, My Melody’s Grandma and Grandpa are on schedules. So you’ll need to check your Visitor menu or see if My Melody says they are traveling when you first log in to know if they might be about to stop by.

The main thing you need to know is that in Hello Kitty Island Adventure My Melody’s Mama, Papa, Grandma, and Grandpa all need to be in Seaside Resort to become Visitors. They can be in the Cozy Islands cabins just above that main hub as well, if that helps. This is because like other visitors, they want to stay near the character they’re affiliated with.

From there, you may need My Sweet Piano around. That means going through the A Friend Indeed questline with My Melody. This is because My Melody’s Mama and Grandma both require the new cottage furniture set items in their cabins, and you will craft and get this once My Sweet Piano is there and befriended. As a result, it could take a while to get My Sweet Piano’s friendship level high enough to get and craft furniture for those visitors.

As for more specific items, here’s what you need for each person:

  • My Melody’s Grandma: 3 baked items, 3 creative items, and 3 Cottage pieces. If you have Dear Daniel or Mimmy as a permanent Visitor, get the three Mama’s Apple Pies from them for the “bread.” For the creative item, that’s a bit tough. I just made three Quattro Fromaggio Pizzas at the upgraded Retsuko pizza oven (one dough, one moon cheese, and one coral milk) and placed those. Then, of course, you need three pieces of cottage furniture.
  • My Melody’s Grandpa: I found gramps to be the easiest one to prepare a cabin for. You need 3 Metal items, 3 Rock items, and 3 Volcano items. For the metal ones, craft three Ingots (9 pieces of iron at Chococat’s workbench). For the rock items, I suggest three Gemstone Mountain critters. (Rockadoodler is often right around the Gemstone Town Mailbox fast travel point.) For the volcano ones, go with three more critters. The Tigersnoot is commonly found around the Mount Hothead mailbox, and I’ve seen Grubbles around the Hot Springs one.
  • My Melody’s Mama: 3 Cottage pieces, 3 Pink pieces, 3 Sweet Pieces. So you could make three Sakura Cakes (flour and sakura in Hello Kitty’s oven) and place those, make three Pink Lattes (candlenut and sakura in Hangyodon’s coffee machine), and place three Cottage furniture items.
  • My Melody’s Papa: 3 Healthy foods and 3 plants. I suggest make three Tofu Breads (tofu and flour in Hello Kitty’s oven), buy and place three Dreamy Potted Plants from Kiki’s Stardust store for 180 Stardust, and you’re good.

I recommend getting My Melody’s Mama set up ahead of her Grandma. Since she’s always available to visit, you can max out her friendship level and rating sooner. Then you could move her in or retool that cabin to suit the grandmother.
