The following progress carries over into New Game Plus in Persona 5 Tactica:

In New Game+, players retain several crucial elements from their previous playthrough, providing a significant advantage and facilitating playing on higher difficulties. However, most things linked to the storyline will need to completed again. For example, you still spend the first act regaining your brainwashed Phantom Thieves.

Here’s a full list of everything you can carry over:

  • Persona Compendium
  • Equipment
  • Fusible Personas
  • Money
  • Play time
  • Report menu

Also, the level cap on the compendium will be removed. This means you can start the game right away by fusing Satanael and enjoying all those benefits. It’s also a great way to get Personas that increase your EXP and money gain early. This is one method of completing the compendium that doesn’t involve grinding over and over again at the end of the game.

You also get to keep your weapons from the endgame of Persona 5 Tactica. This is huge, because by the end of the game the buffs from these weapons can be massive. This is especially true if you have Persona-fused weapons.

You’ll want to make sure you’ve stockpiled some money and good weapons before clearing the game to ensure you start out

As far as new content in New Game+, the only thing on offer is some exclusive artwork. This is for sure interesting, as much of it involves concept art and other preproduction materials. It’s all available from the start, so it’s definitely worthwhile to check out some of it when you start a new playthrough.

Persona 5 Tactica is available for the PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
