The 85cm (33.46 inches) long cushion will have a cover featuring YoRHa No. 2 Type B—better known as 2B—on both sides. The blankets will be around 100cm (39.37 inches) long and available in two designs. Other than 2B, a blanket design with the YoRHA logo and the slogan “For the Glory of Mankind” will also appear.

Taito will only distribute the merchandise to select amusement centers in Japan. In Tokyo, both items will be available at Namco Akihabara and Tokyo Leisureland Ikebukuro. The items will also appear in the online crane games Molly Online and Torumo. However, only people who are physically residing in Japan can access both sites.

The new blankets and cushions will add more entries to the ever-growing list of merchandise based on the video game NieR Automata and its Ver1.1a anime adaptation. Earlier in November 2023, Yamaha announced audio mixers for game streaming with artworks based on the anime. Good Smile Company also revealed Huggy figures of 2B and 9S.

The NieR Automata Ver1.1a blankets and cushions will be available at crane games in select Japanese amusement centers on November 22, 2023.
