Despite how versatile Furina is as a character in Genshin Impact, it’s fairly simple to build her when it comes to choosing Artifacts and weapons. However, how you build her will depend on how you plan on using her.
In her Ousia form, Furina acts as a great off-field sub-DPS support. In her Pneuma form, Furina works as a pretty good healer. As a whole, her Burst is great at buffing her allies, as well as helping to increase the effectiveness of her healing. This is why you should decide in advance which form she’ll mainly be in for you so that you can pick and choose the build you’ll use for Furina.
Here are the best Weapons for Furina in Genshin Impact
- Splendor of Tranquil Waters
Furina’s best-in-slot weapon is, of course, her signature. This weapon has a main Crit DMG stat, which works well with Furina’s naturally high Crit Rate. It also increases her Elemental Skill’s DMG whenever there’s a change in her HP, and her Max HP increases when other party members’ HP changes. Both Max HP and Elemental Skill DMG are stats that Furina should focus on to maximize her potential, and this weapon gives you the best of both worlds. - Key of Khaj-Nisut
Elemental Mastery is not exactly what Furina needs, even if you run her as the Hydro applicator in a Reaction-based team. However, Key of Khaj-Nisut is pretty much the best Max HP main stat sword in the game. It works more as a stat stick to increase Furina’s Max HP, which will in turn boost her Hydro DMG. - Festering Desire
This is probably the best free 4-star weapon you can put on Furina. The downside is that it was only available for players who completed The Chalk Prince and the Dragon, which was a limited event from Version 1.1. Festering Desire is great because of its Energy Recharge main stat, as well as its skill. It increases both Furina’s Elemental Skill DMG and her Elemental Skill Crit Rate. - Favonius Sword
You can also consider putting the Favonius Sword onto Furina due to its Energy Rechargate main stat. This will help to recover Furina’s Burst faster, which will help to increase your party’s overall damage. Sacrificial Sword also has an Energy Recharge main stat. However, its skill is not as useful for Furina since she has no need to reset her Skill cooldown due to how long it lasts. - Fleuve Cendre Ferryman
This is also a free weapon that’s really good for Furina, but it’s only accessible via fishing. It has an Energy Recharge main stat and its skill can increase Furina’s Elemental Skill Crit Rate. It also helps increase her Energy Recharge after she uses an Elemental Skill, which is a good bonus for getting her Burst back.
Here are the Best Artifacts for Furina
- 4-pc Golden Troupe
This is arguably the best Artifact Set you can give Furina due to its 4-pc effect. It can increase her Elemental Skill DMG by 20% in the 2-pc effect, then an additional 25% from the 4-pc effect. Plus, since Furina will mostly be off-field, she can enjoy the bonus additional 25% Elemental Skill DMG boost that the 4-pc effect has. - 4-pc Nymph’s Dream
This is a good Artifact Set for Furina that focuses more on her Hydro DMG. The reason why you would not want to use Heart of Depth on her is that she will not be active on the field, meaning that the 4-pc Normal and Charged ATK damage bonus doesn’t apply to her. If you don’t have enough Nymph’s Dream Artifacts that are good, you can try a generic 2-pc Nymph’s Dream and 2-pc Heart of Depth build that focuses purely on her Hydro DMG. - 2-pc Tenacity of the Millelith, 2-pc Vourukasha’s Glow
Because both Tenacity of the Millelith and Vourukasha’s Glow have a HP +20% bonus effect in its 2-pc and a 4-pc effect that Furina doesn’t need, you can try using this build on her. I’ve also run her with a 2-pc Tenacity and a 2-pc Golden Troupe before I got better Golden Troupe pieces. This build helps to increase Furina’s Max HP, which again, is the stat she scales off of when it comes to calculating her Hydro DMG and her passive Talents. - 4-pc Ocean-Hued Clam
This is the best Artifact Set you can put on Furina if you run Furina mostly in her Pneuma form. Not only does she get a 15% Healing Bonus from the 2-pc effect, but it can also work as a construct that helps deal damage after healing allies.
For reference, when you’re choosing Artifacts for Furina, there are certain stats to prioritize. Try to aim for HP%, Crit DMG, and Hydro DMG for main stats. If you can get them in sub stats as well, that’s great. You don’t need an Energy Recharge main stat Artifact. Instead, ideally, most of your Artifacts should have a decent amount of Energy Recharge to make sure she can Burst as much as possible.
Genshin Impact is available on PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. You can only pull for Furina while the “Chanson of Many Waters” Event Wish is active.
