Nintendo has uploaded a new trailer detailing the final wave of DLC courses that will appear in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It’ll come out on November 9, 2023.
You can watch the trailer here:
Nintendo split the eight new tracks between two cups, the Acorn Cup and the Spiny Cup. Here are the tracks that will be in each:
Acorn Cup
- Daisy Circuit (Mario Kart Wii)
- DK Mountain (Mario Kart: Double Dash)
- Rome Avanti (Mario Kart Tour)
- Piranha Plant Cove
Spiny Cup
- Bowser Castle 3 (Super Mario Kart)
- Madrid Drive (Mario Kart Tour)
- Rainbow Road (Mario Kart Wii)
- Rosalina’s Ice World (Mario Kart 7)
With the addition of these new tracks, there will be a total of 96 tracks in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Aside from new tracks, there will also be new drivers to play as. You’ll be able to play as Funky Kong, Pauline, and Peachette. Funky Kong initially debuted as a driver in Mario Kart Wii, whereas Pauline first appeared in Mario Kart from Mario Kart Tour. Both of these characters were originally Donkey Kong characters. Like Pauline, Peachette also debuted as a driver in Mario Kart Tour.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is readily available on the Nintendo Switch and the final DLC pack will come out on November 9, 2023. The previous DLC wave, Wave 5, came out in July 2023.
