How to Free the Stone Woman in Lords of the Fallen

While exploring Axiom in Lords of the Fallen, you will likely stumble upon many strange and mysterious characters. One of these encounters is a Stone Woman, who you can free if you know how to complete her quest.

In the Forsaken Fens, a petrified singing woman can be found in a small cave in Lords of the Fallen. If you free her, the mysterious NPC will open up a larger quest line. Here is your guide to finding and freeing the stone woman in Lords of the Fallen.

Where to find the Stone Woman in Lords of the Fallen

The stone woman can be found in the Forsaken Fens in Lords of the Fallen. Warp to the Vestige of Valades shortcut and go through either the main path or the door you have unlocked if you’ve been exploring the map section in the past.

Soon, you should reach a large bonfire on the ground level. Go to the left of this bonfire from where you came. You should hear a woman singing from behind a patch of cuttable grass. Inside, you will find the petrified NPC. Talk to her, and she will ask you to free her.

How to free the Stone Woman in Lords of the Fallen

To free the woman, simply use any healing radiance spell. If you are playing the Orian Preacher, you will already have a catalyst to do this. The easiest way to acquire a catalyst is by purchasing one from Exacter Dunmire, the priest with the large hat in Skyrest Bridge.

You can buy the Orian Preacher Catalyst for 650 vigor. Two spells that will work are Healing Sigil and Sanctify. Healing Sigil can be bought from Dunmire, while Sanctify is found in a chest within Skyrest. However, Healing Sigil is preferable given its lower Radiance requirement to use.

Return to the woman and simply cast a spell next to her in the vicinity. She will reveal her name to be Kukajin the Envenomed. Exhaust her dialogue, and she will move to Skyrest Bridge the next time you rest. You may have noticed she was standing in front of an item before leaving. Additionally, returning to where she once stood, you can retrieve Wilmarc’s Catalyst, a powerful item for casting spells. 

Who is Kukajin in Lords of the Fallen?

After rescuing her, Kukajin is a companion you can summon to help you in boss battles. However, you will need to give her payment after every fight. You will find Kukajin within Skyrest Bridge along the path between the entrance and the Vestige.

After speaking to her in Skyrest, she will give you a quest where she assists you through various bosses for a cut of the Vigor earned. However, the unique quest will fail if you miss any of the payments you owe her for assisting you.
