On October 15, 2023, the new Vshojo Vtuber Matara Kan debuted, and at the same time her first song and merchandise also appeared. She performed a cover of Deco 27’s “Zombies” and Rob Zombie’s “Dragula” together. The performer did note that she didn’t enable a VOD for the debut stream, which ended with her saying “bye, honey,” but mentioned that the company CEO Justin “Gunrun” Ignacio was looking into that.
First, here’s the “Zombies x Dragula” debut cover song from Matara Kan.
As for the first Matara Kan merchandise, there are four items available in the VShojo storefront, as well as two bundles that each feature three pieces. You can get an acrylic standee, keychain, or one of two different kinds of posters. The keychain is the cheapest item at $10. The two posters, which are variants of her debut art, are most expensive at $26 each. The acrylic standee is $20. The two bundles are $50 each and include one of the two poster variants, the keychain, the acrylic stand, and a signed postcard.
Here’s how all of those items look:
While her debut stream wasn’t archived, a video message appeared following the new VShojo Vtuber’s debut. It offered a better look at her model and its appendages, as well as conveyed her delight at the “fun” her and her viewers will have.
She is the third new Vtuber to join the company in the last few weeks. GEEGA joined at the end of September 2023. She was immediately followed by Kuro, the first male performer at the organization.
