Hololive Shirakami Fubuki Songs Will Appear in Sound Voltex

Konami revealed that it will add new content based on Hololive’s Shirakami Fubuki in Sound Voltex Exceed Gear. While the new collaboration will primarily add new playable songs, it will also include more exclusive time-limited content modeled after the VTuber.

A total of five songs will newly appear in both the arcade and PC versions of Sound Voltex Exceed Gear on October 5, 2023. In addition to Fubuki’s solo songs “Say! Fanfare!” and “KingWorld,” Konami will include the “Happiness World” duet with Houshou Marine and “Onikemo Dance” trio with Nakiri Ayame and Ookami Mio. Fubuki will also provide a new cover of the BEMANI song “Oboro” to complete the lineup.

While the new songs will still be playable for the foreseeable future, Konami is also preparing more exclusive content featuring Shirakami Fubuki in the Premium Generator. Players will be able to unlock Fubuki as a Nemesis Crew navigator. They can also obtain up to ten Fubuki-themed voice stamps and thirteen touch-panel background movies taken from Holo no Graffiti. If the player has obtained these items by November 5, 2023, they will remain available on the account.

This new collaboration will mark another BEMANI series entry for Fubuki. In October 2022, the VTuber made her BEMANI debut in Jubeat. However, Shirakami Fubuki will not be the first VTuber to have her song added to Sound Voltex. In late June 2023, fellow Hololive VTuber Ookami Mio provided a cover of “Rin-toshite Saku Hana no Gotoku” for both Sound Voltex and Jubeat.

Sound Voltex Exceed Gear is playable on arcades and PCs. The new content featuring Hololive’s Shirakami Fubuki will be available on October 5, 2023.
