One of the many new side gigs players can tackle in the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC is “No Easy Way Out.” This particular quest has players deal with a new character named Coach Fred and helping him out with a problem of his. But players will need to progress a bit in Dogtown before they can do it.
How to complete the Cyberpunk 2077 mission “No Easy Way Out”
Note: Full spoilers ahead for this DLC side gig.
To unlock the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty “No Easy Way Out” side gig in the first place, they must first complete one of the earlier main story quests that has to do with the Chimera boss fight. After that, you can receive a text from Coach Fred for help. Respond to him to start a quest to help his pal Aaron.
This screenshot shows exactly where to go on the map:
Here’s what you need to do:
- Head to the marker to find the boxers Aaron and Will about to duke it out.
- Alternatively, you can choose to bet some money on the two competitors if you want.
- Talk to Aaron after the fight.
- Head to the Terra Cognita area and wait on the marked bench for nighttime.
- Talk with Aaron as you approach the enemy base.
- Either choose to go the stealth approach or fire away at the enemies inside the base.
- Either way, make for the top floor of the building.
- Wait for Aaron to undergo his procedure to make him better in fights.
- Choose if you’re going to side with Angie and forfeit Aaron’s attempt to win the next match.
- After your choice, wait or sleep through several in-game days (potentially around three) and meet up with Aaron at a bar to see the conclusion of this quest.
The main choice here is if you’ll betray Aaron and ruin his chances or not. I recommend sticking up for Aaron and not siding with her. If you do this, you’ll have to fight her. However, it is worth it because you can loot a unique Cheetah pistol from her.
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
