Dragon’s Dogma 2 TGS 2023 Trailer Reveals New Magick Vocations

A new Dragon’s Dogma 2 trailer appeared during the Capcom Online Program broadcasted during TGS 2023. The new trailer introduced the two nations that will appear in the game. These are the human kingdom of Vermund and Battahl, land of beastren. Additionally, two new advanced Magick vocations were revealed: The Mystic Spearhand and Magick Archer. Oxcarts will also serve as a means of fast travel.

In Vermund, those Arisen that have managed to slay the Dragon have ruled for generations. Vermund is green and lush, and has plenty of caves, valleys, and hills to explore. Meanwhile, Battahl is a canyon nation with a city built upon ancient ruins. The environments and monsters featured in Battahl will be drastically different to those of Vermund.

The Mystic Spearhand vocation combines magick attacsk and weapon-based physical attacks. It introduces dual spears as a new weapon type never before seen in the Dragon’s Dogma series. The Magick Archer is a range vocation with a heavy emphasis on ranged attacks, and it mixes archery skills with powerful magick arrows.

Oxcarts allow players to fast travel. Time will naturally pass with each trip. Additionally, players will have the option to close their eyes during the trip, instantly transporting them to their final location, or let the ride continue for its full duration.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is currently in development, and it will appear on the Playstation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam.
